2. Scope and Purpose

This policy applies to the use of the App on iOS/iPadOS. The App is intended to provide cognitive training and self-test features for information and entertainment purposes.

3. What data does the App process?

The App does not transmit personal data to the developer or to third parties.

All information listed below remains exclusively on your device.

• Usage and performance data (on-device): test progress, answers, scores, timer states, local result overviews.
• App settings (on-device): for example light/dark mode and UI preferences.
• No special categories: no health or biometric data in the legal sense is collected or transmitted.
• No identifiers/tracking: no accounts, no cross-device recognition, no advertising IDs, no analytics SDKs.
• No network connections: the App does not establish its own server connections for operation. System services of the operating system (for example App Store updates or optional device diagnostics shared with Apple) are outside the developer's control.

If you install Hydra Trainer from the App Store, Apple collects and aggregates telemetry data and provides it to us. This includes the number of downloads, the number of people who used the app on a given day, and the total number of users per country. Apple does not share data about specific users with us.

4. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)

• Provision of the App (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): processing of the on-device data mentioned above is necessary to provide App features (tests, results, settings).
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): general App security and stability on your device. No server-side processing by the developer takes place.

5. Retention and deletion

• On your device: data remains stored until you reset it in the App (if a reset function is available) or uninstall the App.
• No personal data is stored by the developer.

6. Recipients and sharing

No sharing. No personal data is transferred to third parties.

No international data transfers.

7. App permissions

The App does not use sensitive permissions such as camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, photos, location, or HealthKit. If this changes in the future, your consent will be requested before use and this policy will be updated.

8. Your rights (Art. 12-23 GDPR)

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection.

Since data is stored locally on your device and not transmitted to the developer, these rights can generally be exercised by you directly (reset function or uninstallation). For questions, contact office@hydrapt.com.

9. Minors

The App is not specifically directed at children. The developer does not track or collect personal data.

10. Data security

Data processing takes place exclusively on your device and is protected by iOS/iPadOS security mechanisms. Please protect your device (for example with a device passcode or Face/Touch ID).

11. External services

The App does not integrate external analytics services, ad networks, or social plugins. Any operating-system functions (for example system-wide crash reports to Apple, if enabled by you) are under Apple's responsibility.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if features or legal requirements change. The latest version will be provided in the App or via the linked notice. See the date above for the current version.
